Dumble® Tweedle Dee®

The "Tweedle Dee®" was the most popular of all Alexander Dumble modifications, and the Dumble Preservation Society recreation of the Dumble® Tweedle Dee® continues that illustrious success story.

Rebuilt from the ground up using custom built parts including the chassis, circuit board, cabinet, "Dumble Vintage Gold" lacquer, and leather handle, every detail is exquisitely crafted to look as good as it sounds.

The hand-built "eyelet" circuit board features NOS vintage resistors and our 6V6S output tubes are not merely matched but selected to specific electronic characteristics to optimize the tone, and handle the higher than typical voltages created by Dumble's custom circuit mods. The overall impact is an increase in volume by a few precious and toneful watts beyond the norm.

A Celestion G12M 25 watt Greenback is standard, bringing a British twist to this all American icon. And the Mercury Magnetic "Dumble" spec transformers preferred by Alexander continue to honor that illustrious tradition.

Special options include a custom "Dumble" Tuki cover, "Dumble" branded Output and Power transformer bell caps, and for the ultimate eye-candy experience we offer a full-chrome plated chassis if bling is your thing.

As with all Dumble® amplifiers the waiting list is long, but we think you will agree its worth the wait for a lifetime of great tone. Special Order only, please contact us for pricing and availability.
